Your comment reminds me of the time my best friend, daughter, and I visited our gay friend from high school in San Francisco and he gave us a tour of Castro Street. He pointed out a bar with all glass windows and said, "That's where the old gay guys go -- we call it the 'glass coffin.'" My heart goes out to you, as I do understand it's almost impossible in gay community to preserve one's self and be like me. At least older ladies like me can be "women of a certain age."
