You haven’t learned a thing about me, Rev — and it don’t seem too likely that’s a possible thing. If you learned new things each day you would understand how obnoxious, childlike and offensive your very initial response to this author’s article was, instructing the author on the proper way to “combat racism.”

As to what you aver your wife does in your $multi-millionaire status life you would know that I, too, did the same thing until I lost my house and had to file for bankruptcy.

But that’s because I’m a stupid, untalented, incapable FAILURE who doesn’t know how to be a SUCCESS and didn’t WORK HARD like smart, $multi-millionaire guys like you.

The first big name writer I ever got to know online was “AOL Tom” and that was back in the day. When he averred in an evening “chat” that he owned the Baltimore Orioles, I was like, Pshaw! But I never made fun of him or questioned. I just listened. Soon enough I realized who this unassuming gentleman really was.

Even writers who aren’t that great except for the one thing they do par excellence, like Tom Clancy, enjoy listening to and learning from others and could not have done their work without following that procedure daily. I am pretty sure in 500 years Tom would not have commented telling others the best way to combat racism. I’m pretty sure he’d stuck to his lifelong talent and interests and heavy-duty knowledge that made him a $multi-millionaire legit.

But he’s been gone a long time. His work would likely not be featured and published today. It would be assumed not to be of interest, or to be too “special interest” in advance.

According to Harlan Ellison and my grandmother, “You’ll go far Amy, because you have heart.” Author of 40 books, former exec., Nebula Award nominee, Poor.
