Amy Sterling Casil is an American writer and poet. She is the author of several books, including the novels "Pacazo" and "The Speed of Light," and the poetry collections "A Child Out of Alcatraz" and "The Fifth Sacred Thing." She is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley and the MFA program in Creative Writing at the University of California, Riverside. Casil is also an adjunct professor at California State University, Fullerton.
