Those are all really cool painters. I recently watched a mini documentary about Edward Hopper. Apparently he and his wife had a very complicated and strange relationship, and she is the woman in most of his paintings. My mom painted with the California watercolorists ... you would probably enjoy their work as well: Rex Brandt, Phil Dike, and Millard Sheets.
