This is so noticeable to me when I watch any UK show - and so enjoyable to be able to watch normal appearing people in an interesting story. I can't watch any "regular" US TV - it's such a combination of ... well, I just saw a commercial for a Texas firefighting show starring ... Rob Lowe, the totally realistic Texas firefighter. It's not that I don't like Rob Lowe, it's just (eyeroll).
