This is January 12, 2024 and the U.S., UK, and a few other nations have attacked Yemen because the Houthis, who control part of the country, have been attacking merchant shipping in the Red Sea to support Palestinians in Gaza.
There are various parts of the world which have been in military conflict my entire life.
I don’t happen to consider the Israeli attack on Gaza and parts of the West Bank to be “military conflict.” I think when advanced, well-armed military forces attack defenseless people, there’s another name for that.
What would you think if you woke one morning to see tanks advancing down your street? If you stepped outside and were cut down by automatic weapon fire?
You wouldn’t think much then, would you? You’d be dead.
