Procter & Gamble is not a consumer packaged goods monopolist. They primarily make and sell personal care products from "cradle to grave." That's not the same as packaged goods. They also do not have a monopoly, though they do have a class-action settlement for benzene in their grooming products. Of course this very bad PE's acquisition of S&S is bad. But I don't think that KKR is interested in books. I think they are interested in cross border money exchange.
