U.S. midterm elections occurred yesterday. One member of our family voted yesterday and one did not. And that did and does not matter.
If you look back at what I’ve written here on Medium, from the Clinton Foundation articles to the Opioid Sackler articles to others about homelessness and voting/polls or even bumper stickers, it is all a learning curve and I am a slow learner.
Here in the United States, we live in a corrupt oligarchy that functions, survives, consumes, and kills because of multi-layered and interdependent government structures (local, state, federal) that few other nations share. As I’ve explained at least 80 million times to people who think the solutions to the problems in the U.S. are any of the two “political parties” achieving complete control —
Move to California, if this is what you believe. Or New York State, which dislodged an obviously corrupt and horrific generational “leader” who killed over 4,000 elderly people by mandating COVID patients be sent to nursing homes. How much has changed since the “Cuomosexual” was removed? Just new sociopaths jockeying for their scraps of power and cash, to which they are addicted more powerfully than a lifelong Marlboro smoker.
