Our Stories: Our Selves (1)

I teach students that the truth, or lies, are contained within our language itself, within the stories we tell, and also within the stories which are told to us.

Early in first-semester college English, I ask students to research and write a story about people who have made great achievements, but who are less well-known than they ought to be.
