Only 52 Ohio Girls Under Age 14 Got Abortions in 2021

I’ve got news for Megan McArdle, a highly-paid national columnist who is officially described as a “right-leaning libertarian.”

Megan says that “only” 52 Ohio girls under age 14 were required to have abortions in 2021.

McArdle is an Ivy League grad (Penn) and has had this type of easy job her entire life. Now her life is a bit less easy because she’s being dragged under the Twitter keel for applying her callousness and lack of “business” expertise to the issue of the 10-year-old Ohio girl who had become pregnant and was recently forced to travel to a different state to receive an abortion.

Because I’m an actual business consultant and working writer who takes responsibility for my work, what does this supposedly “low count” of “only 52” really mean?

There are about 1 million girls under age 14 in Ohio according to the 2020 Census and Ohio Kids Count.

If 52 of them had to have abortions as a result of rape or incest, that means that the rate of this crime and response…
