OK, if my distant memory serves me right, the man didn’t say anything about MEN raping other MEN (such as in prison). It was an idiotic — moronic — statement that “women rape men as often as men rape women.” Women do not rape men in prison. Men in prison rape other men in prison or in other situations where they victimize them. I believe I mentioned Sandusky, and I covered that case as a journalist. His victims were and are horribly victimized and he was a violent criminal.

Women have lots of protections? Only now are a few isolated predators being brought to justice. The Golden State Killer, Cosby, Larry Nassar. These people committed dozens and hundreds of crimes for decades.

There are more than 10,000 missing Native American women — the majority presumed dead. These crimes will likely never be solved and should not have occurred in the first case.

As to myself? This is the reality.

Now I am going to be CRYSTAL CLEAR with you so you understand. What happened to me isn’t an isolated instance. It is the rule, not the exception. There is a predator like the man who raped me (and dozens of others) with no consequences of any kind on every college and school campus. There is one in nearly every church, every scouting organization, every camp.

And to add insult to injury, we in addition have to tolerate whiny sub-par men complaining about something that *might* happen to them or lying in our faces. I have been beaten by two partners and raped by a college professor. It’s not unique or isolated.

The lower income women are, and the darker their skin in our culture the worse it is, and the more it happens. If 1/3 of women are sexually assaulted (this is the figure) and over half experience domestic violence then just about 100% of people who work as servers, hotel maids, or other service personnel have it happen REGULARLY. They disappear frequently.

Let’s not even talk about what happens to sex workers.

I do hope you are not wrongfully incarcerated and raped. That happens too. We live in a vicious, violent society.
