Oh my gosh, Selena, thinking about trouble with healthcare in Australia is so sad. Not only do I have AUS friends and clients, I do know about your health system. To go from "out of date" to what we have here in US? Would be so tragic. I have an Australian client who has kidney disease who requires dialysis, and he has his equipment delivered to his home and everything takes place in his home - he speaks so highly of how he has been cared for throughout his illness. I truly do not comprehend how things have gotten so bad here in the US - it's shocking and awful. When I was young, I never feared that I couldn't get medical or dental care and I'm not from a rich family. I also worked at a nonprofit org that served very poor (and soon, homeless) families. They received care ... then ... that was 30 years ago. Now? It's absolutely insane.
