Misty, I was frankly stunned to read your bio and then your article. If you actually consider "Joe Manchin" as an individual to be responsible for this situation - then I can hardly believe you have your position and were not told or encouraged or assigned to write this article to indicate that this man is the sole responsible factor. Then let's look at any type of change or benefit the so-called "Build Back Better" allocation would be if it had actually been enacted into law. In my opinion it would be no different than other government stimulus programs of the past, with the monies rapidly directed away from those who could actually benefit. You should be grateful for your steady and relatively high-paid job with good benefits because the rest of us do not have jack squat and guess what Misty? It's not because we "don't work hard enough" and "aren't smart enough" or "didn't get the right education." Sorry you're too tired to hire some help as Lilo has commented below. You would seem to have the funds: get to it. And if you truly think Manchin directs the country on his own instead of being a willing co-conspirator in the "Let's keep Cloobeck and his fellow billionaires rich game" then maybe somebody better look at what you're doing there as an "economist" at the "Bureau of Census." Ya seen everybody move haven't ya? Like out of CA and NY. What a hellhole we live in. And you are part of making that Misty. You uphold the hellhole - but don't think you're not replaceable. All bureaucrats are.
