Maybe they should let us know who those writers are. I do respond to some who state they are employed by Medium and I do not see the engagement on their work from many others. I wouldn't be surprised, nor at this point would I care if this turns out to be yet another case of paying one's buddies and screwing everyone else, mostly women and people of color.
