Markham, I have been writing advice offered by your source physician for approximately 2 years. It is "shared" with a few dozen people at most. I believe that while everything the doctor told you is true, and you covered this in an outstanding way, that it still presents a problem that cannot be solved using present means. The forces that want to sell things that are either actively harmful (processed foods) or less than helpful (supplements, exercise regimens, tech testing the "metabolism") are simply too powerful. Combine this with the fact that most nutritionists and wellness coaches are ... women ... well - thank you for contributing, Markham, I hope many received a health boost and maybe even some physicians will rethink what they are doing because of your article.
