Kevin, I am so sorry you went through this and very glad to hear you are in a happy, caring and fulfilling relationship now. We women are exposed to this type of individual frequently, and we seldom hear the stories of men who are exposed to this behavior with female partners. Yes, it does exist, and yes, this person was absolutely horrible to you, doing any number of things which are obvious red flags and dangerous, as well as miserable, cruel, crude and dehumanizing. What misery these creatures cause, and it is better that we can share our stories with each other, to heal and to help others avoid them in the future.
