Kassy, I was never a "radical" about any of this until now. You are absolutely right in your basic thesis. Every single person who supports restrictive anti-abortion laws does blame the woman (or girl) in universally, all cases. The "clearance rate" for rapes is declining year by year and the majority of rapes aren't reported in the first place. Minors who are sexually molested cannot legally consent, and under these laws, if their parent takes them to have an abortion after such a crime, then it is supposedly murder. It is depersonalization and dehumanization in the extreme. And, the most vulnerable women and children are of course, the ones who will pay the biggest price: more incarceration, more misery. It is sickening.
