@jason smith … this is the best I can do on my phone. I see your publication is about recovery so I take you at your word. I wrote a detailed article with examples on June 3. I can’t even link to it here in the mobile app. I had noticed a female-authored “triumvirate” and gave examples. The same is on my home screen right now all categories. The topics were bodies, sexuality/relationships/parenting and job or work complaints related to gender. Craig disagreed with me, but I have never seen a promoted story here in months of use by a female author that did not fit these categories — until today! Right after I said it. It seemed to be about politics. It was not very up to date or sophisticated and had a lot of inaccuracies. I teach college, yes. But I have also published 28 books, am myself starving to try to publish genuine voices and had millions of article views and first real reader interaction on Policymic. Medium is nothing like PM. There is something very wrong. Henry id’d it overall. I noticed from the female perspective. By the same token it does not matter if even one person reads what we write if it is real. That is now how I am thinking. But it means that people will very much waste their time if they follow the shallow life hacking entrepreneur approach.

According to Harlan Ellison and my grandmother, “You’ll go far Amy, because you have heart.” Author of 40 books, former exec., Nebula Award nominee, Poor.
