I just read something in this Animal, Vegetable, Junk book that gave me an impression that maybe JFK was not assassinated by "The Mob," the former Soviet Union, or by Allen Dulles. We always look to "foreign" conflicts for this type of thing. But it's hard to read Animal, Vegetable, Junk and not see the biggest, most persistent villains as being Big Ag and Big Food. Mark Bittman (book author) details the behavior of USDA following its formation - where it deliberately financed large White-owned Ag businesses and monoculture approaches, and deliberately tried to ruin Black farmers. JFK found out about the purposeful anti-Black schemes at USDA and tried to stop them. As Bruce just said to me, "Gee, that would be a great 'Plot to Kill JFK' film - the hit goes out from the board rooms of Cargill, ADM and John Deere." Plausible. And these are for sure the evil ghouls killing us all and the planet.
