I wasn't tagging you to pester you - I know you said giving up sugar had no effect ... it might not be "fat" either but in all the Zoe research so far, it seems like it breaks down into most people are either good at dealing with sugar but not fat, or vice-versa - in broad terms. I've been doing the Green Mediterranean diet for at least a month now - because of my walk partner Diane who is a nutritionist, and bc of Dr. Kellman (mentioned in article). Basically eating a lot more quantity and variety veges and fruits and less meat, only fish/chicken. I just ate black beans which would have KILLED me before. I mean laid up for 2-3 days with severe IBS cramps. I FEEL FINE - this is what Diane said happened to her - she eats a lot of foods that most people have trouble with, like brussel sprouts, many beans - no gas, no trouble. I am pretty sure my IBS was/is these gut bacteria - out of balance, then causing cramps and pain.
