I was sitting here reading this, crying. Chicago isn't my town and I have only been there a few times. I don't know as if the Map Project could be done in Los Angeles, but there are definitely big streets that run all the way North-South as well as East-West and the same racial segregation exists in most (not all) LA neighborhoods.

My husband is very ill and I am sitting in the hospital with him. I do not know if he will be able to walk again, or play the guitar again. Maybe he will not survive his surgery.

I think it is very beautiful that the different map twins can meet and that this project has been started. I very much hope it continues. This is one way that things can change, by people getting to know each other, who otherwise, would never speak to each other or see each other. Everyone deserves the opportunity to live in a good neighborhood. No one - especially in our world where the "rights" of the richest are so heavily promoted, and others, not at all - should have their home stolen.
