I was SFWA Treasurer for 6 years. it's a tough job and the old group was comprised almost 100% of awful, loud, brutish "hairy knuckled" white male sci-fi writers. I personally dealt with Jerry Pournelle because I was one of the only ones he'd listened to - probably because I was "pretty." I have not been a member for a few years because it became such a waste of time. Now this. Absolutely sickening.
