I think we can write in "all everything." I do see articles by Ruby and others I know in your publication. If you look at my bio, it's understated, not overstated. My experience has been, when I see editorial information that is very proscriptive and seems oriented toward beginning or early-stage writers, I think "I've been there, done that." And while I am in the age group of your publication and think that I probably may write some things your readers might enjoy, I just do not want to be "rejected" because I didn't italicize properly or ... maybe wrote in all caps. Medium is not doing so great lately in general - I wish you the best with your publication.
