I think most women are in dependent positions and it's asking a lot to ask them to take risks for others in addition to themselves. Few women have enough independence financially and experience working with others/responsible positions to stand up and point out what you suggest. I do, and I agree with you. My ex's ex, who was responsible for the story I will link below (100+ false child abuse reports against him - and falsely indicated he would abuse 'her babies' ) was finally convicted of felony child kidnapping years later. Six years? A long time, and after a prior decade of repeated parental kidnappings. In the middle I had this baby with him, attempted a relationship, gave him a chance to be a good father, but Lali died. Not being a malignant narcissist, I did help Alan later on when he became seriously ill and had no one to turn to. The endless custody battle killed him. It almost ruined my life as well. https://medium.com/@ASterling/my-baby-died-in-my-arms-and-i-was-accused-of-killing-him-450f40a032ab
