I *love* what you have to say! YES by all means do your book. I will help you as I can! I was going to link to "To Kiss the Star," my Nebula Award story that was inspired by my friend Julie Jones, who was born with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA). The story answers the question I asked myself when Julie and I were in class together at Chapman University and I was turning the pages of a book so she could follow along in class, and babbling about my writing and ... easy ... non-disabled life. "Why would someone so wonderful as Julie have to be like this when I am able-bodied and ..." because this was why, the story was the answer. And the same for you Kevin. Because you are worthwhile and worthy and valuable!!! Anyway there are no longer regular free copies of this story on the internet - only bootlegs lol
