I Live in a S**thole
I live in a total s**thole. No self-respecting company would ever want to headquarter here. At least half the people in the area voted for Donald Trump. There are maybe a million or more Republicans who live here! I know it seems impossible, but some of us secretly think, if we could ever bring ourselves to purchase some type of firearm, we would do it to shoot these wrongthinkers dead! Because otherwise they might throw us in a concentration camp, spraypaint Trump! on our garage, or build a wall around their houses like Mark Zuckerberg!
When I get in my Jeep to go to the s**thole school where I teach, I am forced to drive around locations like the one pictured above. Since I am a teacher there and there might even be one or two Trump voters on campus, it is so horrible. I can’t imagine why anyone would want to live here, much less do business here. There is no smoking on campus but I bet there is a student smoking somewhere there right now.
Every Persian, Egyptian, Jordanian, Iraqi, Afghani, Mexican-American, African-American, Chinese, Korean, Japanese-American— and yeah, a few white (aka we know “all whites are alike”) student I encounter (there’s some Native American and Hawaiian students too), is so horrible and ignorant and biased. They even have their own opinions that they sometimes express!
And more fool me …
I respect them!
I guess I have some students with visible and non-visible disabilities. Who knows? Some of them might have voted for Trump too. It’s hard to say but since I voted for Bernard Sanders and then registered for the Green Party and voted for Jill Stein, I guess everyone can know what a stupid, evil, fascist, racist, misogynist person I am. Only stupid, evil, ignorant, misogynist and homophobic people want free college, single payer healthcare, a clean environment and actual justice (aka an ability to get an education, go into the job or career one would like, buy a house, raise a family and avoid being either shot dead on a traffic stop, or just incarcerated with no hope of your life ever getting better — like that, not like somebody talkin’ at ya at the Golden Globes).
We are really horrible here and no one shares the right values. There was even a whole group of us who volunteered for Bernie Sanders and boy were we a bunch of misogynist, homophobic, racist, ignorant and hate-filled … women.
People are just disgusting and unhealthy here. They persist in electing Republikkans or “conservatives” to public office in at least a few communities. These people in no way share the true, legitimate values of fairness, honesty and social justice espoused by Hillary Clinton, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Nancy Pelosi, or Chuck Schumer.
Everyone here is fat, ugly, unathletic and completely bigoted and worthless. All they do is sit around and drink beer and talk about how they’re going to put gay women in concentration camps, and build a wall between here and Mexico, even if 50% of them are Mexican-American and even if some of the white people (all alike, all white people are exactly alike) speak and read Spanish and grew up alongside these Mexican-Americans, 30% of whom voted for Donald Trump so clearly: about to start shipping people off to the concentration camps RIGHT NOW.
Yes, we all live in a total s**thole where at least a million or more people voted for Donald Trump and almost that many voted for Bernard Sanders.
We all have pitbulls, carry shotguns in the back of our truck cabs, drink Bud (if we’re white) or Natty Ice (if we’re not).
We are all a bunch of worthless, ignorant, violent bums and Nazis here in Orange County. No company would ever bring their business here unless we can straighten up and fly right.
Some of us even think about other people and what we say and would never call another person’s home a “s**thole”.
Me no speak Ingles. Me go scrub toilet now and take care of this s**thole.
