I just watched a show about the early efforts in US to address food safety. It took decades for even a few safety procedures to be instituted and a few ultra-toxic substances to be banned. The battle then was similar to this situation today. I, like many others, am so unbelievably sick and tired of disease being turned into political and business warfare. I am very sorry to hear about your cousin and incredibly sorry about your other friends. This disease (COVID) is an example of taking care and following good hygiene - and it truly isn't the "zombie apocalypse." So, while these women you mention were wrong and ought not to be doing what they are doing, so too is attacking others for doubting the extremity of the situation which has been grossly exaggerated to the point some will not leave their homes to this day. Using this as some type of "moral crusade" or political cudgel is wrong. People will NOT learn, they will NOT follow health guidelines if they are bludgeoned with insults. The women on the street corner and yourself - both are guilty. This article is well-presented and provides good information with no guilt trips or politics. That is what everyone needs. Worldwide.
