I hope you have the best timne ever in Sweden!! Run down that hill!!!

That said ... if you like, go to my profile and read the things about sugar. My least-read articles are those on health and nutrition. I see your position and training, I saw everything you mentioned about the different medications you were prescribed. My husband took many psych meds and also had severe depression. He was also diagnosed with a serious psych illness in his youth - something he has no symptoms of now. His father worked for Domino Sugar and there was every form of sugar in his house growing up. He was one of those babies that had to have all their teeth pulled due to being given sugar water continuously. He isn't sugar-free now but very low sugar. These are gradual changes we made over years. All aspects of his health are better now. As to me? I never weighed as little as you except when I was modeling. I was 130-135 most of my young life. And am approaching that again - because of zero sugar. My moods are much more level as well. I knew sugar was not good but I didn't realize how much it influenced mental health as well as physical health prior to watching "That Sugar Film" and working with MDs with expertise in metabolic medicine and the microbiome. I truly think my husband struggled with mental health exacerbated by sugar consumption because our excess sugar consumption in the US trains our microbiome in very negative ways and the microbiome does influence mental as well as physical health. Both of us are a LOT better in all aspects now with no sugar - eliminating it also eliminates processed foods (we eat none). But also in Sweden, I think your food will be better too ... I guess it may be a number of years before we know how many health issues are made much worse or the exact ways the microbiome changes due to sugar consumption (this includes fruit sugar - so no juice, only whole fruit in moderation). I just felt like I wanted to let you know that giving up sugar has really made both our lives healthier and better. Tore my heart out reading of all you have been through although it is very nice to hear that you will be with your daughter and enjoying the time with her.
