Hi Bob - you did make your point. I absolutely understand how people could support Trump and do support Trump. Trump did do things to benefit the US and he did acknowledge and speak to the trade problems and lack of good-paying jobs. I recall him saying things like this for years before he became President. I do *not* support Trump because I'm anti-war and want a better situation overall for everyone. The things you list are true: but a lot, lot more is needed. And there is no "politician" out there supporting those things. If they ever are, they don't survive long - they are either killed or neutralized in other ways. I've heard the reaction of the young woman you describe before, from both men and women. I have heard people talk about "Dirty Indians" (no joke) and they blame anyone/everyone who has been wronged, including blaming former slaves for their enslaved condition. It's the "blame game," familiar to anyone who's been involved with an abusive narcissist. All we can do is keep on keeping on!!
