So when we drove cross-country at the end of March 2020, gas was $1.30/gal in Gulfport, MS. It was well under $2/gal in Florida for at least 5-6 months. The amount and type of goods were limited - but the cost of them? Not so much. Weird how you econ enthusiasts are so fixated on unreality.
