Hello Shannon - like everyone else who uses Medium, I am aware of you, your writing, and your health challenges.

Medium seldom promotes my work because I am self-sufficient, a female entrepreneur, an actual sci-fi writer (using actual science concepts), and not hesitant in pointing out problems and weaknesses in our culture/society as it continues to evolve. And, it is certainly evolving.

As a single mom myself, my heart is completely there for you and your daughter Sophie. To learn from reading this that Sophie has had her own health challenges is heartbreaking.

I'm going to tell you straight up even though you don't know me, but if you were MY DAUGHTER and Sophie my GRANDDAUGHTER, I would tell you straight. You need to figure out how to take care of yourself and your daughter in terms of dealing with health professionals - no one can ever help either one of you as much as you two can between yourself, help yourself.

You also owe it to yourself to look into the Female Dating Strategy (FDS) Reddit and see what people who understand what low-value men do to women and children have chosen to understand and do.

You are not "successful" because you bared your personal issues and soul on Medium and have shared your serious health and personal issues and received some cash in return. Your life and Sophie's life are valuable and worth working hard for and living well.

In terms of your very serious health condition, I believe that the "Standard American Diet" literally kills people and sometimes in terrible, horrific, and painful ways. If it enrages you to hear this - i.e. my saying that the typical US diet of processed, refined and fast/snack foods - is at the core of so many health problems, then I'll share with you that I feel very well (and am well) physically today because I do not eat these foods. I primarily eat fresh vegetables, fruits, and lean, simple protein. I eliminated sugar about a month ago and its health benefits are unbelievable for my chronic illness, IBS. Yes, you can YELL AT ME whatever. The foods sold in most stores and served at most restaurants are devastating to long term health. And they affect our minds as well, so both mental and physical health. Take care, namaste.
