If you read my article at all (quite obvious you did not), you would see that Mr. Powell is a member of the Republican Party, true - but appointed (not elected - how are people to vote for Fed Chair, again?) initially by the President of another party, Barack Obama. And, asked to serve right now and say and do these things, with complete carte blanche ... by the current President.

Who is in the WH right now, Mr. Roman? Who is the current President? What political party is HE a member of?

I leave this to you, to decide whether your feeble-minded belief that a DEMOCRAT is anything different to a REPUBLICAN has any basis whatsoever in fact.
