Hello Charles - that, you have beaten my story down and crumpled it into submission - but even with that, we are equals in that it sounds like we're both 10:10 on the ACES scale. By taking care of yourself and having the right priorities, you have built a good life for yourself. https://acestoohigh.com/

But what people are talking about with racism is not the same as abuse and disadvantage that occurs in any racial or ethnic background, anywhere around the world. You are not only former USAF and a civilian military employee who was able to retire after a lifetime of hard work ... you don't have to be concerned when getting pulled over for a routine traffic stop, you after becoming a working adult could get credit and got GI Bill (like every other member who served, and the US Military has contributed a lot to equity between different races because of the way they operate) to buy a home and retirement to retire ... as you well know many disadvantaged people have joined and continue to enlist in the armed forces. You had it tough - and "life's not fair" but that is not what people talk abt with hardcore racism. The type of work I do shows me that the playing field is anything but fair for nonwhite people, and then there's also all the other stuff, in which we are all equal. Take it from me: there are hardcore, diehard racists out there calling shots that none of the rest of us would ever make. A lot of them are in banks, working as execs in insurance companies, or they're billionaires. Racism IS real. Average people can't influence it that much. But it's completely real, otherwise there would not be so many police killings of nonwhite people, nonwhite people would be able to get $$ to start businesses, and would be hired in all kinds of roles, just not certain ones.
