Hello Adele - my grandmother had Alzheimer's disease and went to live in one of the first Alzheimer's-specific care homes (small - there were 8 people living there). It was like a home, and they had a home environment. They had activities similar to what you describe, appropriate to their ability level. I'm 61 and more fit than most people in their 30s - by the way.
