For the overseas ones? Sometimes they are not paid - I have seen numerous message boards where the workers say they did x-amount of work, had x-amount due in pay and yet it wasn't paid or the amount suddenly reduced to pennies. In the US it is piece rate and they say $10-$15/hour. Some "specialties" are advertised at higher hourly rate, but it is all piece or per response rate, even though they say it is an hourly pay.
