Most people who run U.S. corporations and organizations have the maturity and insight of a Pre-Kindergarten child so why do we trust them and allow them to continue?

Pop psychologist and branded influencer Jordan Peterson’s attitude and statements of “forced authoritarianism” regarding a diverse, plus-sized model appearing on the swimsuit issue of a sports-themed magazine crystallized my understanding of the structural problems facing the U.S. (and world) economy, society, and creative future.

Elite individuals, their captive media and spokespeople tell us: It’s all about money. We give the public what they want. If I had a dollar for every time I’ve heard this chazerei, I’d have a mansion on Captiva Island.

What Jordan Peterson’s ultimate employers are saying in reality is: this is about what we want. Sure, money’s crucial to them. But they’re telling the public the truth the same way a little kid says they’ve finished cleaning their room when they have picked up one toy and thrown it in the general direction of their toy bin and are presently playing Minecraft.

In reality, the pillars of the U.S. economy and society are colonialism, labor exploitation, racism, and gender bias…
