Drag Queens Will Not Molest Your Children
That is a job for scoutmasters, priests, youth pastors, coaches, teachers, and team doctors
It’s difficult to believe, but conservative media outlets are pushing a narrative that drag queens are being forced into public schools to molest children or “groom” them.
Here’s some news: the people who groom and molest don’t wear extreme wigs, makeup, or clothing. They do not perform on stage. Usually, they are men in positions of trust and authority.
When I was five years old, a middle-aged man wearing a trenchcoat exposed himself to me in the children’s reading room at the Redlands Public Library. I didn’t know what was happening. I was just terrified. The ladies in the library ran to protect me and the man ran out of the door. I have no idea what happened after that: I was just a little kid.
Only a few months later, my grandmother left me alone in a toy store near one of our local supermarkets (Sages — later became Lucky, then I think Albertson’s). Another man also wearing a heavy coat did the same thing. This time I sort of knew what was happening, I also screamed in terror, and this one also ran away.
