Check out my bio, Cynthia. The last one-word sentence, in particular. I grew up in So Cal, a small town (Redlands) and a big one (Hollywood). One of my school nicknames was "Hollywood". I have never had cosmetic surgery and unless I somehow become disfigured through an accident or other mishap, I never will. So:

1) Crest White Strips ($40 - 1 mo supply, after initial use requires one every 2 wks or so)

2) Sunscreen - there are more affordable brands

3) Eat healthy, drink water, work out

I just turned 60. I turn heads most places I go. If I went to a party like what Paulina Porizkova mentions, where she is "ignored," I would leave that party and go somewhere I have actual friends or can make new ones.

I have lots of sympathy but the main thing is that the main things we can do to keep in shape and look good are not, in fact, that expensive. Mostly, give up sugar and refined foods (including bread). Eliminated the bags under my eyes that were developing, and keeping appropriate weight: no jowls. I have never bought a pair of any type of pants for $156. I used to shop at Loehmanns and I just bought a bikini, a pair of cutoff shorts, and a nice 3/4 length Ripcurl beach cover up for less than $90 at Nordstrom Rack. All name brands, all ones I've had before (XOXO, La Blanca). I also shop at Forever 21 (which I am not lol) and WalMart ... I just bought a pair of running shorts at good old WM. We live behind one and also in a semi-rural area now so ... ya we moved to SW Florida in 2020. My advice: leave So Cal for nearly any other healthy, positive area. You will feel better and so will your budget/wallet.
