ChatGPT Killed Me!

I asked ChatGPT for a biography and reports of my death were greatly exaggerated — I died of cancer in 2017

What’s afoot with ChatGPT these days? I asked it about myself about a month ago and it invented books I never wrote (but which were real books written by others) and gave me an education and jobs I never had, yet it seemed to mysteriously know I had a connection to Southern California.

Now?

It’s learned a lot more —

But … I’m devastated to have to report that this is my spirit speaking to you, as I died of cancer in 2017. I don’t know what kind, yet …

My “shade” survived, moving to Florida in 2020

I asked again, and this time, ChatGPT let me live!

ChatGPT bio version 2

Thank you, ChatGPT, for including some of my interests and miraculously — a couple of real books!

But especially, ChatGPT, thank you for bringing me back to life and curing my (unknown) cancer!!
