Carole, you should look on my timeline for my articles about the microbiome, calories and the history of "calorie counting," food labels, etc. You believe the marketing info of the companies that are fully-aware of how addictive and health-destroying their poor quality products are. They are all killing the planet - just about every farmer now knows this and now knows they are trapped in a horrible cycle of monoculture, pesticides, and soil degradation - and if you eat regular chicken, beef, and pork - ask yourself this - these animals aren't just bred, they are genetically engineered, fed, pumped with antibiotics and growth hormones to grow as big as possible as fast as possible. People then eat the meat from these animals ... and there's obesity, right? Where MIGHT IT COME FROM since here is another fact: people are eating LESS calories now than they were 20 years ago. But they are much bigger. Just like all those chickens, pigs, cows.
