Back in my day, it was literally "I'm not a feminist." Feminism had been portrayed as bad, feminist women like Jane Fonda as shrill and unattractive, unlike more desirable, soft and feminine women - the 80s. I saw this change in classrooms, too, Ossiana. And the boys were a little bit scared! But a lot of good couples coming up, even so. Being honest is much the better choice.
