Amen, sister Christina. It hurts so much to read that so many women you know are depressed, one took her own life, and they are all being prescribed medication. We need to stick together, work together, and say "no" to the endless requests. I can describe two things that worked for me: 1) truly taking care of myself physically (see my profile for my least-read articles on nutrition and health); 2) as many bad things as have happened to me by staying with untrustworthy partners, I have a good one now. And were he to become untrustworthy? I'd kick him out. I have managed to draw some boundaries and the more I stick to them, the better my life is. I also kicked my child out of the house: now she supports herself and our relationship improves every day.
