A few people (not the majority) seem to only see that I used colorful wording to describe her appearance and demeanor — but would they prefer if I said “desperate bag lady” or some other term used by young people to mock older people? I feel sad as you do. I feel like she would be and do so much better by not trying to copy the looks, behavior, and sounds of those who aren’t just younger than she is but who are really just selling sex or electronic sounds, not anything else.
